Epicurious

Epicurious is a leading digital food publication known for bold recipes, trusted cooking guidance, and rich, editorial-style visuals.

 

For this project, I designed a Valentine’s Day email newsletter featuring curated recipes, drinks, and desserts. The goal was to capture Epicurious’ warm, modern aesthetic while creating a festive, easy-to-skim layout that highlights seasonal dishes and drives engagement.

I reviewed Epicurious’ existing emails and visual system to understand their hierarchy, tone, and imagery. From there, I developed three layout concepts exploring different balances of photography and graphic elements. The final design uses clean sections, bold type, and heart-shaped accents to support the Valentine’s theme. The layout keeps the content simple to navigate while maintaining the polished, editorial feel the brand is known for.
